A two-vehicle crash and fire on Suitland Parkway in Prince George’s
County early Monday morning claimed the lives of three victims and injured
another. According to officials, a collision involving two vehicles occurred
around 4:00 am near the intersection of Suitland Road. Following the collision,
one of the vehicles involved caught fire. All three victims who died in
the crash were in that vehicle.
In addition to the three reported fatalities, authorities have also confirmed
that the driver of the other vehicle was seriously injured in the collision.
The driver was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
As a result of the crash, traffic was shut down from Pennsylvania Avenue
to Suitland Road, creating considerable delays for commuters heading toward
